On the one hand: Here I am, learning Yiddish, writing stories, and drawing a ton of pictures of Jews. But alas! I am in the middle of a bunch of rural farmland and will have no way to scan them until late July.
On the bright side: East Coast thunderstorms, crickets at night, really fresh ice cream, and an increasingly harmonious relationship with the spiders/ants/mosquitoes living in my room. I am surviving the heat (kinehora), even when touring 105-degree matzo factories with 800-degree ovens. Also, I just baked cookies.
